Here at my-art-pieces Art-Collections we bring you a new site that is aimed at sharing your favourite art pieces with art lovers everywhere, and building a collection of popular art on line. We are aiming to allow you to upload your pictures and text describing your favourite artworks and to discuss art with art lovers everywhere. We will be building the site over the coming years to allow you to build up your portfolio of art pieces as you increase your collection. We aim to create a super place for discussion and display for all types of art using photographs or video of your paintings, sculpture, installations and any other medium. Your suggestions for improvements and ideas for the Art-Collections my-art-pieces site will be welcome, and I look forward to a long and happy relationship with readers and artists. I started collecting art about 30 years ago, and although I am now retired with a reduced income, I still get a buzz at art exhibitions and keep adding to my modest collection even now. But the best bit for me, is to meet new artists at the various galleries and events I visit locally here in the Welsh Marches, close to my home in Herefordshire, by using this site, we will be able to pass on to our friends the site address, so that our friends can follow our collections and participate in the community of artists around the world. The Art-Collections my-art-pieces indexing will allow you search by artists name, medium, and the owner, gallery etc. Although the emphasis will be on personal favourites for art lovers out there. Galleries can also upload pictures of art pieces with prices and sales information if they wish, there will be no charges and you will be able to add back links to your own site or artist. We do not really want text without pictures, but if you have a good piece of art criticism that we feel would add real benefit to the site's readers and subscribers and it's light hearted purpose to encourage art in the world we will include them. You will also be able to add comments to the site and the entries, which will be moderated and edited by us to remove profane and unkind comments. You will be able to remove items at any time in the future should you wish.
